Don’t let the Hot Bodies
decals fool you—it’s a B4. All
of Matsuzaki’s sponsors are
represented on his body.
Matsuzaki used a preproduction
version of KO Propo’s new VFS-1
C3 speed control and a KO-Propo 2363 servo. Hot Bodies
IB 4200 cells provide the juice.
Above: the Checkpoint 13-turn single Evolution motor gave Matsuzaki all the horsepower he needed to stay in front of the pack during the finals.
Center: Associated chassis protection tape protects the bottom of his chassis. Right: Matsuzaki outfitted his car with Hot Bodies threaded shocks and pu
rple-anodized hardware. The front tire choice was left up to the driver, and he chose Panther Bobcat soft compound tires to match the Panther spec rear tires.
The IFMAR staff and track crew did a fantastic job of
managing the event, and they deserve recognition.
Thanks! You guys (and gals) are the best!
