SUSPENSION AND STEERING. Just like the bigger Revos,
inboard fluid-filled shocks damp
the ride of the trucks and feature threaded bodies for easy
and precise ride-height adjustment. The shocks are connect-
ed to the suspension arms
through bushing-supported
progressive rate cantilevers. A
molded-plastic link connects
everything to the suspension
arms. You’ll find upper and
lower A-arm suspension on
both trucks, but the arms on the
E-Revo VXL are longer for a
wider monster truck stance.
Pivot-ball hubs are used in the
front and rear and allow for easy
adjustment of camber and truck
width. The steering servo is
connected to a centrally mounted servo saver and it features a
dual-sided arm for dual servo
use. Fixed length plastic rods
connect the servo saver to the
hubs and guards and protect
the servo from crash damage.
