“THE Car”
Gets Tested
AS PART OF THE MEDIA, we were invited to drive and test JQ Products’ “THE Car”—an
all-new, lightweight 1/8-scale buggy with some unique features. THE Car has received
some hype thanks to the Internet; it was designed by pro racer Joseph Quagraine.
Quagraine traveled to California, where he promoted the car by racing it in various SoCal
venues and through further developing the setup. For the test session, the media was
invited to Rattlesnake Raceway in Redding to see just how good THE Car actually was.
Hanging out with Joseph Quagraine and the guys at A-Main Hobbies during their media
day was awesome. I was able to get some time behind the wheel of the buggy and was
impressed with how it handled the test track. We’re looking forward to getting a test
sample of THE Car!

super-light, and you definitely notice that when you drive
it. It also has a ton of steering and jumps really well.
