Top: You have to get as low as possible to
get the shot and that’s exactly what Hope
McCall did. ;e cardboard is there to keep
her from sticking to the track. I almost lost
my shoes a few times. Left middle: We
even had our ace video guy Joseph Arthur on the
scene. Some may say he makes me look good, but
I think it’s the other way around. I make his videos
look good. Left: Part of our day included driving
a Traxxas Slash 4X4 in front of the Traxxas Funny
Car to get some trick shots with the Traxxas Go Pro
camera that I mounted to the back of it. Below right:
Yep, I’m holding the reflector. It takes a lot of skill to
make sure that the shiny stu; is directed in the right
direction.

One of the coolest things about working at RC ar Action is that we get to see new RC vehi- cles before anyone has even heard of them. A good example of that is the Traxxas Funny Car featured in this issue. ;is car is unlike any- thing out on the market, and a simple photo
shoot in the parking lot just wouldn’t do. For
this photo shoot we packed up and went over
to Lebanon Valley Dragway in Lebanon Valley,
NY ( lebanonvalley.com), to get all the awe-
some photos that you see of this unbeliev-
able car. Of course, we brought along an extra
camera so that we could get some behind-
the-scenes shots for you guys to see. It’s a
hard job, but someone has to do it.
