;is ride from Scott Chapman takes vintage RC to
a whole new level. He started out with a Duratrax
Ultima Pro XL that he shortened, customized and
painted on the chassis. He bolted up a custom-painted Tamiya SRB front suspension and fitted the
buggy with Kyosho gold shocks. ;e transmission is
out of a vintage Kyosho Triumph and the battery box
and aluminum rear arms for an Associated RC10DS.
A slew of custom aluminum parts, the interiors and
chassis parts from a Cox Baja Bug and Kyosho Ultima
2, Pro-Line wheels, modified Tamiya
rear paddle tires
and a custom
Parma Dune
Buggy body
with a custom-made V W motor

TAMIYA HIGH-LIFT

Michael sent us shots of this sweet Tamiya High-Lift all the way from Quebec,
Canada. Under the matte black F350 body sits a Tamiya Multi-Function Unit
that controls lights and sounds, a metric ton of aluminum goodies from RC4WD,
a Hitec 645MH steering servo and HPI tires. ;at’s one sweet murdered-out
truck!
RC4WD TRAILFINDER

;is RC4WD Trailfinder comes all the way from the UK. John built
the rig with a set of RC4WD D40 axles, a Novak 55T Crawler
motor, Rooster Crawler speed control and Savox servo are
controlled by a Futaba 3PK radio. A winch, custom interior and
painted Toyota body finish o; one sweet ride. Great job, mate!

perpetual work in progress. At
press time, the rig has a Castle
Creations Mamba Max speed
control and 3800Kv motor
combo, Sky 30c LiPo battery
and Flysky FS-G T3B radio to
control it all. Upgraded metal
driveshafts, Redcat Racing
rims and tires with cut foams
and a custom cage made
from 3/16 brake line and a
massively modified Nikko ;or
body top o; the ride. Mark
also has plans to add rear
steer and a set of Interco scale
