Remember to set your ride
height before racing. Lower is
better, but set it too low and
your truck is going to get tossed
around by the smallest bumps
and jumps.
SuSpenSion
In racing, handling is everything, and the only
way to get a great handling truck is to have the
right suspension setup. Most RTR SC trucks have
very durable and high-performance suspension
components, so there is no need to make component
upgrades right away, but the suspension will need
some tweaks. If your truck has a lot of bashing mileage,
the first thing to do is to rebuild the shocks. Shocks
have a tendency to leak oil over time, especially if the
truck has been driven hard. Newly rebuilt shocks will
give your truck a more forgiving and responsive feel and
make setup easier.
