WHEN I WAS FIRST assigned the review of the new Rally I didn’t
even know what it was—I was told that the big brown truck would
be dropping a new Traxxas vehicle for me to test, and that’s it; the
fact that I didn’t have a clue made it that much more exciting. When
I got a vague hint during a phone call that it may be a rally car, I even
considered camping out under the mailbox waiting for its arrival. I
started to envision my own miniature World Rally Championship
career in my dreams, picturing a line of brave spectators
sprayed by dirt and gravel while I drifted by with
the steering wheel locked in the opposite
direction, focused straight down
the course by staring through
the driver’s side window.
