MOUNT THE LIGHT BAR, AND ROUTE
THE WIRES THROUGH THE BODY
Install the light bar on the roof using the hardware provided,
and run the wires along the roll cage. Drill a hole in the body for the
wires to pass through. Route the wires through the hole, then reinstall
5Plug the light bar into the third-channel port, right above the servo plug. Reinstall the body and
you’re ready for action.
Looks factory! Zip-tie
the wires to the roll cage
for a neat install.
PLUG THE LIGHT BAR INTO THE
Almost done. ;e light bar plugs into the open port on the
receiver/speed-control unit. ;e lights will be on anytime the
Ambush is powered up. Despite the brightness of the LEDs, power
consumption is very low, and you’ll still get plenty of run time from
the included battery.
Add a Switch
If you’d like to add a switch to the
circuit, RC4WD o;ers a plug-in
solution. ;e Mini On/O; Switch
(Z-E0081) plugs in between the light bar
and receiver/speed control, allowing you to
turn the lights o; without unplugging
them. ;e tiny switch can be easily
servo-taped under the body or
mounted with included hardware.
Did you forget which wire goes where? If you hold the plug as
shown, with the tabs facing you, the black wire goes on the left, the
red is in the middle, and there’s no wire on the right side.
