Land RoveR defendeR d90 PickuP
Meet JaMes Knight
The chassis started as a stock RC4 WD Gelande II. James installed Team Raffee chassis rails designed to match the D90 pickup
body and added RC4 WD inner fenders for a more scale look. James outfitted his D90 with a Tekin FX-R speed control, Axial 35T
brushed motor, Savöx servo, HeyOK BEC, and Spektrum DX4S radio system.
Team Raffee offers
the D90 body in
versions to fit a
modified RC4 WD
Gelande II chassis.
The bars across the
doors and hood are
actually channels in
the mold that help
the plastic flow
through it, and are
removed as one
of the body
Those are some good-looking seats. They’re molded in a softer plastic
than the body, for a more realistic texture and feel. Note the molded-in
seat rails, ribbed floor, and open center console. Details!
The dashboard is well molded and fully detailed, right down to pedals in the floor. Since this is a car from
the UK, the steering wheel goes on the right.
