Gmade has been part of the crawling scene
for more than a decade now,
and the Korean maker is known for well-crafted machines with capable performance, as
we’ve discovered with our reviews of the Sawback models. The Komodo is Gmade’s latest
truck, and it appears here in ready-to-run trim. The solid-axle 4X4 is packed with details
out of the box, including a roof rack, LED lights, snorkel, mirrors, wipers, and more. There’s
even a pair of sand ladders and a shovel to carry in the roof rack. Note that all those
details arrive in poly bags—you have to install them yourself. While the Komodo doesn’t
totally put the “ready” in ready-to-run, it does put in a lot of features, as you’re about
to see. You may find this trick trail pickup is well worth picking up yourself.
