As with the Summit, the TRX- 4’s T-Lock differentials are operated via a three-position switch on top of the transmitter. You can choose to run with both diffs
“open” (unlocked), lock just the front diff, or lock both differentials. The magic
happens with just the whir of the micro servos that operate the cable-actuated
mechanisms. The servos are waterproof (as are the rest of the truck’s electronics),
and the T-Lock parts are fully enclosed in the axle housings.

of the TQi transmitter operates
the T-Lock di;erentials, and the
rocker switch shifts between
high and low gear.
A dog ring keyed to the output
shaft slides into the di; housing
to lock the housing to the shaft,
thus locking the di;erential.
